COURTESY POSTING FOR TTOS– PLEASE DIRECT ALL QUESTIONS TO THEM DIRECTLY
The TTOS Tactical Tracking Course is dynamic and fast paced visual tracking based course designed to train law enforcement personnel’s visual perception, cognitive abilities to detect, analyze, collect and follow visual cues created by the passage or movement of personnel, vehicles, or animals through an area, scene or any tactical environment. Students will be able to detect and interpret evidence left on the ground (footwear, tire impressions, action indicators), correctly identify evidence related to the person being sought, correctly process and photograph the evidence for use in criminal investigations/prosecution. The new skill set enables LEO’s to detect the slightest of visual cues and logically connect them to the subject that left them through both inductive and deductive reasoning, also referred to as “tactical tracking.” This skill will enhance law enforcement personnel abilities to locate and identify suspects, discover and collects evidence, and locate missing or injured parties.
