Course Description

This 5-day Instructor Certification level course is ideal for Law Enforcement agencies who are wanting to begin a Large Caliber program and/or want to validate their current program. Current domestic and international terror trends indicate a need to increase the procurement & deployment of large caliber rifles ranging from conventional SWAT operations to planned overwatch positions. Vehicle intrusion continues to be a means of inflicting mass injury and death overseas and in the homeland. Large caliber rifles properly trained, deployed and with the correct ammunition can be an effective means in mitigating vehicular threats while increasing citizen and officer safety.
This course will require multiple teach backs and curriculum development. All students are encouraged to have basic instructor certification from their agency. A strong emphasis will be placed on train the trainer concept as we prepare your professional to come back and develop & implement a Large Caliber Rifle program. Instructor certification will be valid for 3 years. Re-certification will be offered.
